The Dordogne is a region full of beautiful meandering rivers, charming ancient villages, châteaux and rich vineyards. With green hills topped with ‘bastide’ towns and cave paintings from prehistory, all set in some of France’s loveliest countryside. This is what gives the Dordogne its unique attraction.

The famous caves of Lascaux are a major tourist attraction. Périgueux has important Roman ruins, including an arena which is still visible inside a public park located near the town centre

In the summer months this area is full of things to do when you are not off roading. You can take a canoe down the river, go horse riding, water skiing, swim in the river,visit an aqua park or on hot days ,visit the caves.

We are spoilt in the village having a brilliant Bistro and a luxury, Michelin starred restaurant.
